Ossie Clark c.1974 dress, "Ziggy Stardust" model. Ivory damask crepe fabric with layered ruffled tiers, creating beautiful movement. Unlabelled, includes a 1974 newspaper cutting of the original vendor wearing it.
 
A rare and iconic design, the same model is held in the Met Museum's collection (Object Number 2015.522).
 
Condition
Approximately 50 years old, presents in overall excellent vintage condition.
Only upon very close inspection is a small pull on the back neck, and a small mark on one sleeve. Professionally dry cleaned and ready to wear.
